I'm a total fan of Screamer, Alabama
Screamer is an unincorporated community in Henry County, Alabama. Located along the Chattahoochee River, steamboats used to pass through and blow their whistles while Indians would follow along on the banks screaming and hollering. Bears, panthers and wildcats similarly echoed through the hills. Screamer was accurately named after all the hollering going on.
In the 1960s, Screamer became a recreational mecca for vacationers and residents with its man-made lake and surrounding waterfront houses.
